A Message from Katrina

The Home T - multiple sclerosis 5_12

We receive a good number of messages.

Some are customer service related. Some are from folks just saying hi. Some are from other entrepreneurs asking questions.

The topics are all over the place and we’re always happy to receive them and respond. But there are certain messages that make us pause and slow things down for just a bit. A good example is the message below from Katrina.

“I heard about your company after my best friend was diagnosed with MS. I, of course, ordered one for me and my husband. Attached is our pic wearing your shirts in DC! We love them and love sharing your site when we are asked about them. Thanks for doing what you do for MS!

PS – can you tell we are a military couple?”

The note makes two things come to mind:

  1. You’ll see that both Kristina and her husband can show off their state pride. She’s wearing Texas and he’s wearing Washington.
  2. While The Home T helps connect people to the place they call home, it does something even more important. It brings people (from couples to charity teams) together and helps create more awareness about multiple sclerosis.

Who knew that when we launched The Home T out of our one bedroom apartment in New York City that we’d someday be getting this type of message and photo from Katrina. I certainly didn’t, but am thrilled to see that we’ve come this far.
