What You Get When a Couple from Georgia & Alabama Have a Baby?
This isn’t a joke, but if it were, it would go a little something like this.
What do you get when a couple from Georgia and Alabama decide to have a baby? A Texas born baby, of course!
Like I said, if this were to be a joke… and I’m clearly not a comedian.
But this is a true story.
The Home T Started Out of a 1-Bedroom Apartment in NYC
I remember it like it was yesterday.
We had boxes everywhere.
Boxes of blank t-shirts in one spot. Boxes with packaging material in another spot. Printed t-shirts in another spot.
And to make it even more fun, this was all happening in our little one bedroom apartment in New York City where The Home T got its start.
And if you don’t live in, or have never lived in New York City, take the visual of the one bedroom apartment you just had and cut the size by around 45%.
While this may seem like complete chaos, we had an absolute blast! We’d get home at night and have dinner, then we’d sit in front of the TV fulfilling orders. Then, the following morning we’d make the daily 5:30 am trip to the local post office to start shipping orders.
It’s not my most glamorous photo, but the shot below was taken just before one of those early morning trips to the post office.
The Home T Brings Friends Together
It’s always to see photos of people wearing a Home T, but it’s even more fun to see friends wearing their Home T’s together!
A great example of this is the two ladies you see directly above.
Welcome to the original Home T! If you’ve stumbled on this blog post it means you’ve likely been searching for our shirt online, and we’re sure glad you found us! You may have heard about a shirts from a friend or family member.
Helping Soldiers Feel Close to Home
I spotted this photo of Kait and her fiancee online a couple of days ago and immediately planned to share it with you.
But what I didn’t know is the details behind the photo and what it would eventually be used for. To explain, I’d like to share what Kait wrote on her personal website about the photo.
Dierks Bentley Wears Home T During Running Event
First we got word that country singer Dierks Bentley held up our United States Home T on state during a concert, and now we’ve come to find out that he also wore it over the weekend during a running event. Take a quick look below.
Fifty Dresses That Changed the World
During a recent trip to Florida we popped in a furniture store that had all sorts of fantastic things for the home.
While browsing around I saw this little stack of yellow books and I couldn’t help but take a look to see what they were about.
There were several titles on display, but Fifty Dresses That Changed the World peaked my interest the most. It’s full of, as the title says, dresses that changed the world.
The Home T in Us Weekly with Hilary Duff & Ashley Greene
I literally almost fell out of the chair just now.
Why?
Because I was flipping through the pages of Us Weekly and stumbled on a spread where they featured both Hilary Duff and Ashley Greene in their California and Texas Home T’s. And that’s beyond amazing!
Which State has the Worst Food, is the Craziest…?
Business Insider recently conducted a poll with more than 1,600 people to find out how Americans feel about states other than the one they call home.
And the results were quite comical – all in good fun of course. What you’ll find below are the questions asked, and the results as put together by Business Insder.
1. Which state has the weirdest accent?
Massachusetts has the weirdest accent. Trailing close behind are Louisiana, Alabama, Minnesota, New York and New Jersey.
