It Hit Me Like a Freight Train

This is the time of year when brands such as The Home T get really busy.

We’re printing. We’re shipping. We’re ordering product. We’re answering your calls and emails. There’s simply a ton of stuff going on and it’s easy to get caught up in the chaos.

This is the time of year when brands such as The Home T get really busy.

We’re printing. We’re shipping. We’re ordering product. We’re answering your calls and emails. There’s simply a ton of stuff going on and it’s easy to get caught up in the chaos.

And right when that seemed to be happening we received an email from a customer that, for me, hit me like a freight train. A portion of the email can be read below.

“Thank you for the donation to MS (multiple sclerosis) research. My husband was dxd in 97 and it quickly progressed. He struggled with MS for 7 years, but had a fatal heart attack on his 41st birthday. I believe that his body just couldn’t take it anymore.”

I’ve re-read those lines so many times. It’s just heartbreaking.

While it saddens me to hear these types of stories, they tend to offer motivation and clarity for myself and The Home T. We are part of this fight and there’s nothing more important than helping raise money and awareness for multiple sclerosis and the vital research aimed at helping find a cure for the disease.

Thanks for reading and for being part of the community.
