Y’all.
It’s not something everyone says, but for those that say it, they do so proudly.
And that’s why we’re excited to launch our new “My y’all is authentic.” shirt today!
Why did we make this shirt?
Well, it’s pretty simple actually. I was prepping to go to SXSW in Austin, Texas earlier this year, and watched a video interview about the event. The person being interviewed was clearly from the north and she let out one of the worst “y’all’s” I’d ever heard.
She clearly said it out of sarcasm, and being from the south, I immediately thought to myself, “My y’all is authentic.”
Call it a moment of pride.
But then I immediately sent a text to Whitney and said, “What if we made a shirt with ‘My y’all is authentic.’ on it?” She liked the idea and here we are today.
If “y’all” isn’t part of your vocabulary, I can almost guarantee that you know someone that says it. And when you buy this shirt for them as a gift, their going to love you for it. And if you also buy them a Home T… get ready for squeals and hugs. Seriously.
