The Rockford Peaches, to some, are a baseball team featured in a movie staring the likes of Madonna and Rosie O'Donnell.
But what you may not know is that this was a legit baseball team that played in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League.
We pay homage to the team and all they did for women, with our Rockford Peaches design that you can see below.
Three Facts About the Rockford Peaches
1. They won the league championship four times.
2. The teams home games were played at Beyer Stadium on 15th Avenue in Rockford. Towards the end of the war, dyes were hard to come by, so the team dyed their uniforms peach. That's where the Rockford Peaches name comes from.
3. Pitcher Olive Little threw the team, and leagues, first no hitter.
