Almost everyone is proud of where they are from, but people that are from Texas, they take it to a whole different level, and the pride is absolutely amazing.

The list below is in no way scientific, but it’s comprised of items that most Texans, if not all, will relate too.

10 Signs You Grew Up in Texas

1. You know the sky, and everything, is bigger in Texas.

2. You’re convinced Austin is better than New York, San Francisco… or any other big city.

3. You always brag about the food, especially when it comes to BBQ and breakfast tacos.

4. You know what Whataburger can cure.

5.  You know there’s nothing better than summer nights in Texas.

It’s certainly shaping up to be an exciting week at The Home T.

Just yesterday we got news that Hilary Duff was wearing our Texas Home T-shirt, and now we’ve found out that the photo was published by Us Weekly! Take a look at the photo below.

Wow.

Just wow.

That was my exact thought when I saw a photo of the singer/actress Hilary Duff wearing our Texas Home T-shirt!

I used to be a Top 40 radio DJ “back in the day,” and would frequently play her songs on the radio, and even did a couple interviews with her along the way, and to to see her now wearing one of our T’s is absolutely amazing.

 As you may or may not know, The Home T donates a portion of its profit to multiple sclerosis research, and you can find a little bit more about why we do that here.

The donation is made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and is specifically earmarked for research.

Speaking of research, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society has a MS Now campaign that we’d like to share with you by way of a letter they recently sent us.

We love hearing stories about where you travel with your Home T, and here’s one we recently received from Jessica.

Last week I wore my (California) Home T the first day of my trip to Southern California, where I was born and raised. I hadn’t been back since I moved (eight years ago), and what’s funny is I didn’t even plan it. I packed my favorite shirt to go to my favorite state, and just happened to wear it as I drove around revisiting all of the places I grew up. It was perfect.

You might imagine that we were excited when Clare Bowen from ABC’s hit show Nashville sent us a photo of herself wearing her Tennessee Home T! Doesn’t she look amazing in it? A big thanks to Clare for sending this photo our way!

Living in New York City has exposed me to all sorts of things, especially fashion.

And when you combine fashion with photography (I take a few photos on the side), there’s tons of fun to be had.

Stylish people on bikes never gets old. Just try to make sure a helmet makes it on your head.

It’s always fun to see you in your Home T, but it’s especially interesting to see where you are wearing it.

Living in New York City, there’s certainly a plethora of things to do on the weekend, and it’s also pretty simple to make a quick escape outside the city. But it seems the unexpected moments the city throws at you are the best.

Granted, there was one thing from the weekend that most certainly stands out.

It’s not something everyone says, but for those that say it, they do so proudly.

We hope you had an amazing 4th of July!

We’re down in south west Florida at the moment, and it seems to be raining every time you turn around, but we’re making the most of it for sure.
