Made in the USA: It’s Easier Said Than Done
I’m proud that The Home T products are Made in the USA, but as a business owner I have to admit that, at times, doing so easier said than done.
I’m sure that 25 or 30 years ago it wouldn’t be quite as challenging given that there were more manufacturers in the United States, but the landscape of today is much different.
This topic came to mind because there is one product we’ve been trying to develop for a while that has been somewhat elusive. In fact, you might even call it my pet project.
Actress Jessica Szohr in Wisconsin Home T
Actress Jessica Szohr has been spotted wearing our Wisconsin Home T… and that’s SO cool!
She got her start on the likes of CSI: Miami, but her celebrity drastically increased when she landed a role on the CW series, Gossip Girl. Take a look at Jessica Szohr sporing her Wisconsin Home T below.
Bryan Cranston in the United States Home T
My wife and I were late comers to the Breaking Bad party, but like many others, we eventually caught up by doing a few marathon weekends.
We loved the show, and the ending that so many raved about, so it was awesome to be sent this photo of actor Bryan Cranston in his United States Home T.
We have to send a big congrats out to Mila Kunis. If you haven’t heard, she and long-time boyfriend Ashton Kutcher have gotten engaged. Mila was spotted wearing our California Home T a while back, so we have a little extra love for her. Not that we don’t like Ashton though.
If you browse our Texas board on Pinterest, it’s highly likely that you’re going to do a double take when you see the Hamilton Pool.
In fact, when I first saw it it looked like a tropical setting I once visited just outside of Tulum in Mexico. But, as you now know, it’s not in Tulum. It’s in Texas. And from what we can tell, it’s a great place to visit.
We’ve mentioned time and time again that we love seeing photos of you in The Home T.
We’ve received photos from literally all over the world, and you never know what to expect when opening an email with a photo. So, when I opened the email with the photo below my reaction was something like, “Shut up. That’s just absurdly cute!” Don’t you agree?
Rockin My Home T all the way in Afghanistan
True story.
Prior to starting The Home T I had no idea what an APO address was. In fact, it’s not something I’d ever heard.
Shortly after we opened for business an email came in that said, “Do you ship APO?”
That’s when I fired open Google and typed, “APO address,” and quickly realized that they represent military addresses.
I promptly reopened the email from the customer and typed, “Yes, we absolutely ship to APO addresses!”
Here at The Home T, we’re big fans of the t-shirt. Obviously.
Granted, we think that our insanely soft t-shirt is one of the best that you can find today.
But what makes a t-shirt amazing? What should you look for? How should it feel? With so many questions, we’ve decided to touch on five very important points for you.
As always, we love seeing photos of you or your friends wearing The Home T. And we especially love seeing your holiday themed photos. Take a look below of some of the photos that have been submitted during the Christmas holiday.
Here’s a great holiday celebration shot from Sarah. The California and Illinois Home T’s representing!
